PLAN AND DESIGN
The memorial site has a circular walkway with a bronze sculpture at the center. Behind the sculpture will be a brick wall showcasing our memorial bricks and supporting businesses that have donated. There are also five benches with service plaques commemorating veterans from all military branches.
Meet the Sculptor
Fred J. Hoppe is a Nebraska artist best known for his life-size bronze sculptures of Nebraska football players and the Tom Osborne/Brook Berringer sculpture outside of Memorial Stadium at the University of Nebraska, Lincoln.
He also designed, built, and created the Veterans Memorial Museum in Branson, Missouri to honor his father and our country’s veterans.
